Frequently Asked Questions We have members all around the place, how do they attend the AGM remotely?
Participants can log in from anywhere, as long as they have an internet connection and a device capable of accessing a web browser such as chrome, Firefox.
Please note: You will need the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. A 1.5 MBS internet connection is recommended.
How do we ensure the voting is carried out anonymously, securely and in real-time?
The Vero voting platform has cutting-edge technology that suits all levels of online voting services. The user interface is simple, secure and accessible and is a one-click solution to cast your vote. All this is done in a real-time secure confidential voting system.
Is there an option to appoint a proxy to attend the AGM?
Yes. You may also appoint a proxy vote on their behalf through Vero AGM platform if you cannot attend.
When appointing someone as your proxy, you can specify how you want your vote to be cast on each resolution. There will be a proxy form option on Vero AGM platform that will treat any members attending the AGM remotely as
being legally in attendance and will facilitate allowing members to vote on the day by electronic means.
Can we record the whole AGM event? Can we save the file of the event?
The AGM webcast will be recorded and made available to view after the meetings provided by the Vero team.
Is there a feature on how we can manage the Q&A session?
Vero AGM Q&A module makes it easy to manage your member’s questions in one spot. You can moderate, submit questions to the chairman, publish it to the public or archive them.
Can we customise the platform with our brand elements?
Yes. You can use your brand logo, colours and templates on all online collaterals that we’ll be using on the AGM.
What is the internet speed requirement for live webcasting?
Participants attending and watching the live stream meeting should have at least a 1.5 Mbps connection.
The broadcaster or presenters should have at least a 3 Mbps internet speed connection. We recommend having backup internet service (e.g. 4G modem).
What setup or devices will be required?
Vero has its own web streaming platform that is fully integrated into the browser that allows you to live-stream your meetings via a simple webcam and a microphone.
If you wish to set up video production for webcasting, Vero team can accommodate that as well.
